DONALD COLIN ALLAN (born 1922)

Allan was born in Tottenham in 1922 and he was educated at Stamford Hill School and Tottenham Grammar School. In 1939 he won a scholarship to Hornsey School of Art.

His studies were interrupted by the war service in The Royal Air Force and from 1942 - 1947 he served in the RAF Marine Craft Units. He returned to England in 1947 to complete his studies at Hornsey School of Art where he graduated in 1949.

Exhibitions: Hornsey Art Exhibition in 1953 and 1954. Royal Academy Summer Exhibition 1993.
