Kevin was born in the Eastern Cape, South Africa, into a family of artists & musicians. He was educated at Ficksburg School in the Orange Free State.

After travelling extensively, Kevin studied African Art in Johannesburg and then started dealing in art. He opened galleries in Pinelands and Hout Bay in Cape Town, and started painting himself in 1981.

In 1988 Kevin sold his business and continued painting as well as farming with olives in the Karoo.

He held many successful exhibitions between 1982 and 2002 in South Africa.

In 2000 Kevin moved to England with his wife & family, & opened a gallery and framing business in Cumbria. In July 2003 they moved to Guernsey where he continued to paint full-time from his home in St Andrews. He then started a gallery and picture framers in St Peter Port, which he managed until leaving for the mainland.

Kevin and his family have settled in Wallingford, where he continues to paint. He supplies several galleries in the UK & Africa.
