Donald GREIG, RSMA (b. 1916) 'MURANO' Watercolour, signed Painter and printmaker, with a strong interest in marine subjects. Married to the artist Rita Greig. Born in London, the son of the watercolorist James Greig, he studied at Southend College of Art with watercolorist Charles Taylor. Elected a member of the Royal Society of Marine Artists (RSMA) in 1967, the year that he won a Gold Medal at Paris Salon. Showed at RSMA and also at Royal Academy, Royal Society of British Artists, New English Art Club, and various one-man shows.
