ART DECO STYLE CARPET HISTORY: A similar carpet to this one was designed in 1933 for the Maharajah of Indore for his Palace ‘The Temple of Rubies.’ The original carpet is photographed on the p. 136 in ‘Art Deco Interiors’ by Patricia Bayer. The carpet was designed by Brazilian born Bruno Da Silva Bruhns who became the best known carpet designer in France during 1930’s HAND KNOTTED MADE TO ORDER IN THREE DIFFERENT SIZES: 6' x 9' / 1.8 m x 2.7 m 8' x 10' / 2.4 m x 3 m 9' x 12' / 2.7 m 3.6 m
